1. Where are you from?

   I’m a Fort Mac girl. Alberta, baby!

1. How long have you been lashing and how did you start?

   I’ve been lashing since 2010. I was quite burnt out from working relentless hours in film when I discovered eyelash extensions. I got a set done to help conceal my tired eyes, and soon my curiosity turned into a career!

2. What is your favourite part about doing lash extensions?

   Connecting with people and helping them feel beautiful. Beauty is more than what we see on the outside, it is my aim to connect with every client to ensure they feel comfortable and confident to their core.

3. What is your favourite way to spend a day off?

   Reading and hitting the gym!

4. What is your dream vacation?

   Eating my way through every vegan restaurant through a strange city. Take me anywhere and I’ll be on the hunt for good eats.

5. What is your favourite part about working in the beauty industry?

   The people! Both clients and coworkers. The beauty industry collects the most fascinating personalities - and I can’t wait to get to know all of you!

Norika Daito

1. Where are you from?

   Raised in Pemberton & the Sunshine Coast.

2. How long have you been lashing and how did you start?

   I have been lashing for about 6 years and started lashing at Noir Lash Lounge.

3. What is your favourite part about doing lash extensions?

   My favorite part about lashing is everything from getting to know my clients and to help them achieve there lash goals.

4. What is your favourite way to spend a day off?

   I spend my days off being outside anywhere with my dog and always looking for new places to eat.

5. What is your dream vacation?

   My dream vacation is to go to Mauritius.

6. What is your favourite part about working in the beauty industry?

   Working in the beauty industry helps me create and customize each look for my clients and to be able to make them feel beautiful.

Nicole Sekiya

1. Where are you from?

   I’m originally from Calgary but I’ve lived in Vancouver for the past thirteen years with zero plans on leaving. I love the west coast!

2. How long have you been lashing and how did you start?

   I’m a junior artist, grateful to be learning more here at La Piña with Lexi. 

3. What is your favourite part about doing lash extensions?

   Lash extensions are so customizable so they’re an awesome option whether someone is low maintenance, glam, or anything in between. 

4. What is your favourite way to spend a day off?

   On days off, I love a good beach hang but when the weather is less beachy, staying home and being cozy with a book or binging a series. 

5. What is your dream vacation?

   I’ve been dreaming of visiting the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland but anytime I can visit New York City, I do. 

6. What is your favourite part about working in the beauty industry?

   I love being part of a ritual of care and sharing great vibes with clients.
