Avoid soaking your lashes for 24 hours. No saunas, hot yoga, crazy work-out sessions or break-ups. Keeping your lashes dry for 24 hours will ensure that the adhesive cures properly.

Brush through your lashes gently with the mascara wand given to you at your appointment to straighten out if needed. Start from the middle of the lashes to the tip, do not start at the base of the lashes as you might snag the extensions.

Cleanse your lash line daily to avoid bacterial build up. Use a q-tip and oil free makeup remover, or a gentle lash shampoo and warm water.

Avoid oil products on and around the lashes. This includes cream shadows and oil-based makeup removers. Oil will break down the adhesive and cause the extensions to fall out faster.

Absolutely no mascara over the extensions. Mascara contains oils, which break down the adhesive. Additionally, mascara negatively impacts the look of volume lashes by collapsing the fans.

Other eye makeup is okay (as long as it's oil free!) but be gentle when removing your makeup. The more wear and tear on the extensions, the sooner you will need to come in for your fill.

What is the aftercare for the eyelash extensions?

What is the aftercare for a lash lift?

Easy peasy lemon squeezy! Think we’re kidding?

Keep them dry for 24 hours. That’s it. Afterwards, live your life as you please.

Client’s must wait 6-8 weeks before their next appointment.

Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes prior to your appointment. The door will be locked to the studio. We will come to the door to open and let you in within 5 minutes prior to the appointment or at the appointment time.

Your lash artist will take before and after photos. Please be aware that this is to track the health of your natural lashes and the look created with the extensions. By booking an appointment and completing our waiver in store you consent to the photos of your lashes being used on our website, or any other promotional platform. If you are concerned for your privacy please have a conversation with your lash artist and accommodations and exceptions can be made.

You will be consulted on the shape, curl, and fullness of your service. Please note that with classic lashes we may only attach 1:1, if you are looking to get more volume out of your set we suggest looking into one of our Russian Volume services as we are able to provide more coverage with that technique.

Please notify your lash artist of absolutely any sensitivities, allergies or irritants. We do have a comprehensive intake form, but please ensure you notify us of any other contraindications.

La Piña Lash Studio uses lengths are 1mm-2mm longer than the natural lash. The longest length that we carry in the studio is 15mm long. We pride ourselves in prioritizing the health of the natural lashes. This means that we will not accommodate requests to go longer than 2mm than the natural lash. Excess weight on the natural lash can cause long term damage, and we believe in sustainable lashes.

During the service we use the following products:

  • Eyelash shampoo to cleanse the natural lashes

  • Undereye gel pads

  • Medical tape: including 3M Micropore Tape, Nexcare Sensitive Tape or Silicone Tape

  • Cyanoacrylate based adhesive

Please ensure you have thoroughly reviewed our portfolio as it is an accurate representation of our work. Your lashes will be tailored to your natural lashes and desired look, within our style and policies. If you are coming in with photos of any other artists work please be aware that we may not be able to create that look due to differing techniques, products and policies.
